Based in Portland, Oregon, Flavor Memories is the culinary brainchild of husband and wife team Noelle & Sean McKee. Seeking to honor tradition by utilizing the techniques of yesteryear in the modern culinary landscape, Flavor Memories brings out the purity & truth of their regionally sourced ingredients to create intuitively sophisticated dishes. Relying on family & friends for inspiration, Flavor Memories remind us that truly great food can nourish the soul as well as the body while bringing to the table memories that will last a lifetime.

Sean Charles McKee is a French trained chef with a passion for all things culinary. From humble beginnings in the local coffee shop in Lander, Wyoming, Sean went on to learn his craft at Eugene’s Café Zenon. After moving to Portland and being voted Best New Chef in 2008 by the Portland Sentinel, he has gone on to study under four James Beard Award winners and has traveled the globe in pursuit of his culinary passion. His impressive resume includes experience at Daniel NYC, La Belle Vie Minneapolis, Pramil in Paris and two Michelin Star restaurant Chambard in Alsace. Sean has been a fixture on the Portland food scene for over a decade, leading the crews of Roux Restaurant, Brasserie Montmarte and Higgins. When he is not in the kitchen, you might find Sean on his bike, writing and playing music or in the garden. He currently resides in Portland, OR with his wife Noelle Harrigan McKee. 

Noelle Harrigan McKee is an event coordinator & hospitality specialist extraordinaire. Her career in the hospitality industry began at the age of sixteen behind the counter of the local bakery and has lead to a fruitful and rewarding career. Over the course of her nine year tenure at BridgePort Brewing Company, she has planned and executed events for clients such as Nike, Adidas, Keen, Columbia Sportswear, REI, OHSU, Intel, Daimler, Kaiser Permanente, Providence Health, Schnitzer Steel, PSU, U of P, U of O and OSU just to name a few. After graduating as Valedictorian of her high school class, Noelle studied at University California San Diego and went on to receive a Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Oregon. Passions for music, wine, literature and gardening fill her time when she is not working. She currently resides in Portland, OR with her husband,
